Manly

In an interesting project given to us by an Architect, we were asked to renovate this two bedroom apartment in Manly. The brief was that we were to convert this into a one bedroom unit, to give more space and open up previously inaccessible areas in order to take in the fabulous views. It was also our chance to work on a project that would bring this older style unit into the 21st Century.

As well as putting in false ceilings so that down lights could be used to create a more natural lighting setting, we also were able to bring more natural sunlight into the unit through the clever design of the architect by taking out the second bedroom and converting it into an open plan style lounge and dining area.

The photos we have listed show you work on this unit as it is being done, with photos of the finished kitchen. Again, we were unable to gain access to photos of the before shots, but we think that you will clearly be able to see how we have bought light and space into this previously dark environment.

The finished project was stunning and all concerned with the job - client, architect and builder, were very, very happy with the final outcome.
